BD-3H Step Motor Driver Amplifier

I. Introduction on Performance

Hybrid step motor is made of rare earth permanent magnet, it has a lower electromagnetic loss, higher conversion frequency and better dynamic feature, etc. comparing with reaction step motor. When a hybrid motor runs, it is relatively steady, with low noise and high output torque. To replace reaction motor by hybrid step motor is the development trend for economical CNC system.

KND-BD3H 3-phase servo hybrid step motor driver has the following features:

1. Employing AC servo control, for control way it has added fully digital current loop control and 3-phase sine current drive output, which makes the 3-phase hybrid motor free from creepage, resonance and low noise at low speed.

2. The voltage of the power amplifier of the driver is up to DC325V, the step motor has hi-torque output even when it runs at hi speed.

3. It is provided with perfect protection such as short circuit, overvoltage, under voltage and overheat, etc., so it is highly reliable.

4. It is of division and half current function. It is of several division selections, the least stepping angle can be set as 0.03°.

5. Widely applicable, by setting different phase currents, it can be configured with different motors.

RDY1/RDY2 (Ready): N. O. contact, becomes ON when there is no alarm, load 30V, 0.5A(MAX).

Green LED RDY: normal indication, lit up at trouble free state;

Red LED ALMT: failure; ALM2: overheat; ALM3: over voltage; ALM4: under voltage
