KND-0T CNC turning lathe controller system is an economy CNC system for lathes during retrofitting of machine tools. The system is of an integrated structure. In addition to CNC unit, in the cabinet it also has two built-in 3-phase hybrid step motor drives, so that it’s simple and easy to retrofit machine tools.
The built-in 3-phase hybrid drive of KND-0T employs AC servo control, for control way it has added fully digital current loop control and 3-phase sine current drive output, which makes the 3-phase hybrid motor free from creepage, resonance and low noise at low speed. The voltage of the power amplifier of the drive is up to DC325V, so that the step motor has hi-torque output even when it runs at hi speed. The drive has 4 selections for output current, 8 division selections, by mating with CNC unit it’s possible for control to reach high accuracy.
The control unit of KND-0T CNC system employs hi-speed microprocessor, super-large-scale customized IC chip, multi-layer printed circuit board, and the display is a LCD with high resolution. The whole process uses surface mount devices (SMD). While remaining the common functions of a lathe, it has simplified further the system, hence the whole system is compact, size is greatly reduced, and meanwhile the system reliability is improved further. For control panel, CNC operation panel is integrated with machine panel, this has greatly simplified the connection between a CNC system and machine tool. The full screen uses Chinese menu, straightforward interface, the operation is simple and clear, so the system has a very high cost performance.
